The 2014/2015 Scouting Year

It's back to school season...and that means "back to Scouts", too. Here are some important details for 8th Newmarket's 2014/2015 Scouting year:

Beavers:

• Beavers are boys and girls aged 5, 6, and 7
• Meetings are held at Maple Leaf Public School on Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:45
• First meeting of the year is September 17

Cubs:

• Cubs are boys and girls aged 8, 9, and 10 
• Meetings are held at Maple Leaf Public School on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00
• First meeting of the year is September 18
• Contact leader Akela (Tim) can be reached at 8thnewmarket@gmail.com

Scouts:

• Scouts are youth aged 11, 12, and 13
• Meetings are held at Maple Leaf Public School on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:00
• First meeting of the year is September 18
• Contact leader Scouter Chris can be reached at 8thnewmarket@gmail.com

Venturers:

• Venturers are youth aged 14, 15, and 16
• Meetings are organized and scheduled by the youth
• First meeting of the year is September 9
